Does this sound familiar?

Life can often be difficult and tough to navigate, but I genuinely believe that we all have the ability, power and resilience to grow and change, and live a healthier more fulfilling life.

The decision to embark on the journey of therapy is a courageous one. Therapy is a challenging, yet warm process that involves self-reflection and honest conversation. If you have come to a place in your life where remaining stuck is more painful than the risk it takes to heal, I believe I can help you.

Hi, I'm Konika McPherson, LMFT

I’m passionate about many things surrounding the health and well being of all genders. Along with mental health I am passionate about maternal health, family and relationship dynamics, and hold a strong focus surrounding the multicultural context and how that has shaped who you are and how you respond to the stress and conflict in life. I have decades of experience in mental health and utilize a trauma informed approach to help you along your journey.

As a bi-cultural therapist whose journey to have children was as unique as my child is, I see the therapeutic process through a unique lens which helps me understand your journey and helps create a treatment plan specifically tailored to who you are and what you have experienced.  My individualized approach is driven by a desire to help each client on their journey. My certifications have shaped the way I do therapy to help each client create a corrective emotional and relational experience. Through my trauma focused lens I am able to help you heal and help you navigate the myriad of life transitions that can happen to an adult; be it graduating college, preparing for first time motherhood, dealing with past traumas or childhood wounds, starting a new job, buying a new home, losing or gaining relationships, exploring your gender, sexuality or culture just to name a few.

Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to discover the root causes of your struggles and find healthier solutions and meaningful connections. If we sound like a good fit let's connect!
